Position Description:
This high-performance consultant will manage sales for Aushon’s multiplex immunoassay products and services in Europe. This individual will focus on establishing and maintaining market leadership and achieving short and long-term sales objectives by identifying customer needs and providing solutions to create a partnership between the customer and Aushon.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Achieve territory sales goals and objectives consistentwith account/sales goals.
- Maintain an excellent level of product, market and customer knowledge to accomplish territory objectives.
- Maintain a high level of planning, organization and territory administration necessary to meet territory objectives.
- Develop business plans to accomplish sales objectives.
- Monitor activity vs. the plan and take corrective action when necessary.
- Develop strong working relationships with the life science community, with a high science approach focused on identifying needs and providing solutions.
- Maintain an excellent level of self-improvement and personal growth to grow territory sales and accomplish territory objectives.
Position Requirements:
Requires a BS/BA degree in Life Sciences with a minimum 5 years proven sales experience in the life science industry. Experience in selling Life Science consumables, services and/or instrumentation/capital equipment. Must have experience in the specific immunoassay market. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must have a strong network of contacts in the protein biomarker space. Demonstrated ability to “close” business. Must be energetic, enthusiastic and highly motivated. This position requires up to 70% travel.
